WFUNA Cover by Jacques Costeau
Shown above is the November 22, 1974 World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA). The cachet was designed by the famous marine biologist, Jacques Costeau. It has stamps on the cover which were issued to recognize the value of the Sea Bed to mankind and should be preserved. There were 30,000 of the covers produced and serviced.

The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) began producing first day covers of United Nations stamps in 1966 with the issuance of Sc# 154-155. The cachet on this cover was produced by the artist, Salvador Dali. This was the first of long series of first day covers on which famous artists produced the cachet. These WFUNA covers can produce a nice area of specialization.
