Interesting 1980 Flag Series Booklet

 I Found this booklet offered on Ebay and could not resist buying it.  There is no listing of a booklet for the 1980 Flag Series listed in Scott and I could not find any listing for it in the Gaines catalog. The booklet contains 4 panes of 8 stamps from the center two rows of each sheet. Therefore they contain a the se-tenant block of four. 

There are 5 interleaves contained within the booklet.  There are facts related to the Flag Issues, UN Stamp designs, Uniqueness of UN Designs, First Day Covers, and the listing of the date of admission for each of the countries contained in the booklet. 

The inside of the back cover contains the addresses of the UNPA offices in NY, Geneva, and Austria. There is an logo and statement produced by the Association Internationale De Documentation Et Information Philatelique

 The back cover shows the statement reproduced with the permission of the UNPA and shows the No. 9204. It was reported that 24,000 booklets were produced.

 I could only find one reference to this item in The Journal of the United Nations Philatelists, Inc. Volume 4, Number1, October 1980.
